Home Fundays

The Young Ones Nursery offer a fun packed range of daily activities that the children take part in and enjoy every day.
A structured routine is very important in nursery as it gives the children security everyday and helps them to build in confidence. However it is also very important to encourage children to try new things and have freedom to explore their world through new ideas and experiences.

Our fun days really promote this and the children gain a lot out of them as well as having a lot of fun.

The Young Ones children enjoyed a Royal Jubilee Garden Party on Friday the 1st June.
All of the children and the nursery team dressed in Jubilee colours of red, white and blue and had a yummy party lunch in our garden. The sun shone as the children all wore their home-made crowns, waved their flags and ate cucumber sandwiches, home-made mini victoria sponges, fresh strawberries and lots of delicious Jubilee treats.
The nursery played British Anthems throughout the party including Cliff Richard and there was even a visit from the Queen herself! The children were delighted to meet the Young Ones Queen and all had lots of fun waving flags and joining in with this party celebrating The Queen's 60 years on the throne.
