Artist of the term is Kandinsky, a Russian painter (1866-1944), who was one of the first people to paint pictures that are known as 'abstract' art. He was a musican as well as an artist.

The children are learning about Kandinsky and part of his specific techniques which we are going to ask the children to do, is to interpret their musical movements into a creative activity through listening to a piece of music, of their choice and asking the children to paint what they feel  from the music.
